Responsibilities
A key aspect of the role is ensuring the service remains inspection-ready at all times, with strong governance systems in place to meet Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) standards. This includes maintaining accurate records, monitoring performance, and ensuring policies and practices reflect current legislation and best practice. The Registered Manager holds overall responsibility for safeguarding, ensuring concerns are identified, reported, and managed appropriately, and that a culture of safety, dignity, and respect is embedded across the service. focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients by ensuring care is personalised, promotes independence, and adapts to changing needs through regular reviews and engagement with clients and families.
